"Joy" in Pennsylvania

Taking LK Ludwig's workshop at the awesome studio of Bee Shay was a double delight.
We got to learn all the things LK had for us......metal resist with patinas, nature printing with colorful dyes and gelatin printing.  This all took place at Bee's studio, a wonderfully creative space.  I wonder how she EVER leaves it.

Here are a few examples of what we did.

When all are papers were completed, we then bound them into a book.

You ladies did some wonderful work. I regret that I wasn't able to see your books bound, so wrapped up in my own, and the last one finished . . . as usual.

It was great seeing you and spending a couple of days with you both in Bee's idyllic studio.

Wish I could have been there with you as originally planned. And I can see from the wonderful pages here that I missed a lot!!

You two are some workshoppin' gals! I'm jealous that you got to go to TWO fabulous gigs - would have loved to be at l.k.'s since I love her books & art. I'm packing my kids off to camp this week so I'll have uninterupted painting time - yeah!

So glad I came upon your card at the bottom of a tote bag - will check back & see all you're doing.

Happy summer, Caroline Brown
